Introduction
Cangzhou Dahua Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned sole proprietorship enterprise, is a large comprehensive chemical group primarily engaged in fertilizer and TDI production, with China National Chemical Group as the controlling shareholder and the Cangzhou Municipal Government as a participating shareholder. The group comprises six subsidiaries (including one listed company) and possesses an annual production capacity of 360,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 580,000 tons of urea, 150,000 tons of TDI, 160,000 tons of caustic soda, as well as concentrated nitric acid and ammonium nitrate. The "Iron Lion" brand urea and "Flying Lion" brand TDI have earned market recognition for their reliable quality and service. In 2013, the company achieved an operating revenue of 3.59 billion yuan. Cangzhou Dahua originated from the Hebei Cangzhou Fertilizer Plant, a national first-class enterprise and one of China's first 13 large-scale nitrogen fertilizer plants introduced in the early 1970s. It commenced operations in 1977, transitioned from a factory system to a corporate system in June 1996, and restructured in collaboration with China National Chemical Group in October 2006. Through over 30 years of relentless efforts, continuous technological upgrades, phasing out outdated production capacity, and implementing industrial advancements, the company has evolved into a significant production base for isocyanates and fertilizers in China. In recent years, focusing on its two core industries—fertilizer and TDI—Cangzhou Dahua has leveraged the locational, resource, transportation, and environmental capacity advantages of the Bohai New Area, a national-level economic and technological development zone, along with comprehensive support from superior authorities. By fully utilizing its talent, technological, and management strengths, the company has further implemented industrial restructuring. A series of projects have been successively completed and put into operation, including an annual output of 50,000 tons of TDI, 60,000 tons of DNT, 70,000 tons of TDI, the DNT 6-to-9 technological upgrade, and 160,000 tons of ion-membrane caustic soda. These initiatives have initially established a circular economy development model characterized by tight integration of upstream and downstream products, a complete industrial chain, and prominent core businesses. Currently, adhering to the development strategy of "improving quality, reducing consumption, and expanding capacity," the company is steadily advancing a series of expansion and supporting projects, including 135,000 tons of nitric acid, TDI 5-to-8 expansion, and the second phase of DNT 6-to-9 expansion. Upon completion, these projects will further optimize the company's industrial structure, enhance competitive advantages, and strengthen core competitiveness and industry influence.
